RISE started in 2020 as an online support group for people living with cancer to connect, learn from each other, and offer understanding that even our closest loved ones cannot.

The support group grew from once a month, to once a week. From one woman with metastatic breast cancer to a team of women hosting each week. From one person reaching out for help to communities coming together.

We started hosting retreats for women with cancer in 2023.

In 2024 we became a 501(c)3 non-profit, added a Parent Support Group, and Self-Development Workshops open to everyone.

We held our first gala to raise the funds to grow in 2025.

This year we launch our Wheelchair Basketball Team, Family Camp, Survivorship and Advocacy programs.
